SPORTS AND GAMES

Sports and games are an integral part of education at Zydus School for Excellence. In addition to regular physical education teachers, visiting faculties are employed to give special coaching in various games. Currently, the school offer coaching in Basket Ball, Football, Chess and Skating. In addition to the inter house & Inter school competitions our students participate in the state and national level competitions.

Unit of Scout and Guides also functions under our sports department.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Kinshu Jain of class IX-B has participated in U-14 State Level 200 meter woman's open and in U-16 Girls State Championship
• Kishan Rathod of class X A has participated in U-19 Basket Ball as a player of the team Ahmedabad Rural
• Het Kshtriya has participated in U-14 State Basket Ball as a player of the team from Ahmedabad Rural
• Sanjana Kotak of class VII-A pariticipated in U-14 and U-17 in the State Level Table Tennis tournament.
• Akshay Tiwari of class VIII-A had participated in U-14 (Semifinal),U-17 (Semifinal),U-21(Quarter final) in the Table Tennis Tournament at Karnavati Club Ahmedabad.
• Amay Shastri of class IV had participated in U-10 (WON),U-12 (WON),U-14(quarter final) and U-17(Quarter final)in the Table Tennis Tournament held at Karnavati Club Ahmedabad.
• Kaivalya has achieved feat U-12 in Lawn Tennis at Karnavati Club.
• Mishita Parikh of class XII got 4th position in district level table tennis tournament held at Ramat Gamat Sankul Khokra and selected for state level Kalp Saraiya of class IX is on 6th position and standby for state.
• Kaneesha Parikh of class XI got 3rd position and Mishita Parikh of Class XII were selected for state level badminton tournament held at Ramat Gamat Sankul Khokra.
• In the Inter School invitational tournament (Yash Raj Tournament)Zydus School boys are runners up in U-14 group held at HL Commerce College. Yogi and Pranjal of class VIII scored maximum points.
• In U-16 Category Zydus School fro Excellence has got 2nd position in District level table tennis tournament.
• Sanjana Kotak of class VII and Devanshi Kotak of class X are selected for state level in Bhavnagar.
• 13 Zydans had participated in the city Taluka Vyayam Pracharak Mandal from Zone-3. They received meritorious positions:

  Kinshu Jain : 1st -100m, 1st -200m , 1st- Long Jump

  Nitya Zaveri : 2nd- Shotput, 3rd -400m,

  Manank Pandya: 2nd - Shotput , 3rd -Discus throw

  Akshita Chauhan : 1st -100m, 2nd -Shotput

  Siddhraj Sindhav : 1st -High Jump, 2nd -Long Jump, 2nd- 100m

  Protay Chakraborty : 2nd -200m,
• Kevalya Raval of class V A has gone to attend a tennis tournament AITTA.
• Sanjay Kotak of class VII A played table tennis in the finals and got second price.
