Library

The library is commonly called as the Resource Centre and it is regarded as the heart of Zydus School for Excellence. Its role is to support and promote educational goals as outlined in the school’s mission and curriculum

The Resource Centre is housed in two different wings – one meant for the student/teachers and the other meant for the senior classes. Resource Centre housed around ten thousand books, and around six hundred CD-ROMs. Its is open from 7.30 a.m. in the morning to 3.00 p.m. in the afternoon. Books/Magazines are issued to all the students, teachers and parent members of the school for duration of  one/two weeks. Whatever may be the set of resources that is being issued, the children are taught how to identify and  evaluate the book for  optimum use. Since the library is open for access for parent members also, a lot of interaction takes palace and guidance is given to the parents as to how to use the resources for maximum benefit. Taking regular feed back from the parents and teachers on the child’s performance in academics, as well as conduct in the society, helps in promoting the usage of the resources and build a strong collection.
